We created the new brand that put the 'alliance' back in Rainforest Alliance.

Challenge

Certification-as-usual is too regimented, and it isn’t delivering the scale of change the world needs. That’s why Rainforest Alliance joined forces with UTZ in a groundbreaking merger to reimagine certification. But how do you inspire business, farmers and consumers with the possibilities of this new type of certification?

Solution

We created a new brand with a positive vision for the future at its heart. And crucially, we showed how people – from farmers to consumers – were the key to making that better future possible.

Impact

A refreshed brand, with people at the heart, is helping the world understand what the Rainforest Alliance do and why it matters. The bold, vibrant identity and tone of voice positions certification as process of constant evolution and improvement, not a static, one-size-fits-all solution. It’s a call to action to inspire more people to join the Rainforest Alliance in creating a world where people and nature thrive in harmony.
